8 Actions Yogi Adityanath has taken till now as a CM of UP

Yogi Adityanath an Indian Priest is now appointed as a Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Since 1998, he has been the member of Parliament from Gorakhpur constituency . He is also the founder of an organisation called as Hindu Yuva Vahini which has been involved in communal violence. On the first day, he took an oath to serve different parts of society without any discrimination. He then headed for a meeting where he asked top bureaucrats of Lucknow to prepare a road-map for good governance. During this meeting he clearly stated to fulfill the promises made by BJP during elections. 

On the next day, Yogi Adityanath attended the preceding of Lok Sabha in Delhi. He also met our President Pranav Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He then vowed to make UP corruption and riot free and also create employment opportunities in the state. On day 3, he went to his office which is in Lok Bhavan and then passed several orders. Let’s see what all decisions he took within such a  short period of time after being appointed as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

1. Shutting down illegal slaughter houses

As he stated earlier to fulfill the promise made by BJP,  he straight away implemented the shutting down the illegal slaughter houses on the very first day. Two slaughter-houses of Allahabad (Rambagh and Atala), one in Dasna (Ghaziabad), one in Varanasi were sealed and in addition to this, authorities also sealed some illegal meat shops running in the capital.

2. Asked Policeman to implement law and order in the state within 15 days

Uttar Pradesh was under the influence of open criminal activities and violence. Now it is the need of the hour to bring law and order in the state. Yogi Adityanath is totally aware of how the crimes are affecting the development of his state. Policemen have 15 days to ensure law and order in the state. He also asked officers to keep an eye over social media contents that could create some communal disputes. “There should be no political intervention in police work related to any matter”, he added further.

3. Ruling out the VIP culture in the state

We have seen many times that when a VIP passes with a red beacon on his vehicles,  all other vehicles are stopped and kept waiting till he and his team passes completely. Society has to face problems due to this. Hence, the CM ordered all ministers to never use the red beacon atop their vehicles while travelling.

4. Asked all ministers to reveal their incomes within 15 days

In order to make the state corruption free, all the ministers working for the state should never be in any kind of corrupt activities. He gave 15 days to them to report their income details in BJP’s office. It will be now interesting to see how many ministers are as clean as they portray.

5. Warned ministers for making any controversial statements

Many times ministers themselves make some statements that hurts sentiments of some people in the country. Sometimes, it disrupts the communal harmony in the country. He warned his ministers to never make such kind of statements in any kind of media.

6. Issued orders to form Anti-Romeo Squad

He stated that there is a need to change the outlooks towards treating a women. He asked officials to have zero tolerance in the matters related to women security. On day 2, he passed an order to form ‘anti-romeo squad’ in 11 districts of Lucknow to prevent eve-teasing.

7. Ordered a blanket ban on smuggling of cows

Yogi Adityanath ordered a blanket ban on cow smuggling on 3rd day of his office. He asked his officials to have zero tolerance towards those involved in such activities.

8. Bans plastics, gutkah (tobacco) and pan masala in Government Offices

This had to be done as gutkah and pan masala are not only affecting our surrounding but also the people who consume it. Effect of plastic is immense on our environment. It’s great that the CM kept this on his priority list and without any delay ordered ban on such materials.
